1. What CRASHSCAN handles

CRASHSCAN processes public EVM wallet addresses or ENS names that you choose to scan or track. The web app may also keep labels, scan summaries, and your tracked-wallet list in local browser storage.

CRASHSCAN does not request or need a seed phrase, private key, extended public key, wallet signature, token approval, transaction approval, payment card, or exchange credential. Never enter those secrets into CRASHSCAN.

2. Why the data is used

Public addresses are used to retrieve read-only balances, token metadata, recent public-chain activity, and market context; to show a verified scan; and to refresh tracked-wallet status when you ask the web app to do so. Local preferences are used only to restore your interface.

3. Network services

The production service queries Robinhood Chain RPC infrastructure, Blockscout, and—only for explicitly approved token contracts—DEX Screener. Those services receive the public-chain identifiers needed for the request and apply their own policies.

4. Storage and retention

Tracked-wallet data is stored on your device until you clear it or clear site data. Server-side scan caching is short-lived and held in process memory to improve speed and protect upstream providers. CRASHSCAN does not create an account-level wallet profile.

The web app's service worker caches only the offline page, web manifest, versioned application shell, and static icons or framework assets. It excludes /api and /rpc requests, so wallet scans, balances, activity, prices, authentication data, and RPC responses are not served from the offline cache.

Infrastructure may produce ordinary security and reliability logs. CRASHSCAN does not include wallet secrets, seed phrases, private keys, signed payloads, or transaction approvals in application telemetry.

5. Limited use

CRASHSCAN uses public wallet data only to provide the read-only scanner, protect security, comply with law, or complete a user-authorized support request. CRASHSCAN does not sell wallet data or use it for personalized, retargeted, or interest-based advertising.

6. Your controls

You can remove individual addresses, clear tracked-wallet data, or clear browser site data. The web scanner remains usable without connecting a wallet.

7. Security and limits

CRASHSCAN validates responses and rejects incomplete samples from verified totals, but public blockchains and external providers can be delayed or wrong. CRASHSCAN is an informational, read-only tool—not a custody service, security guarantee, or financial adviser.

8. Changes and questions

Material policy changes will be published on this page with a new effective date. Privacy, security, and publisher questions can be sent to ops@crashscan.fun or handled through the CRASHSCAN support page.
